Touch

Played in the summer terms of 1 and 4.

Monday night - Term 1 Year 7 & 8 will be run an interhouse competition at school 3.30pm
                            Term 4 as well as interhouse Competition, students wishing to represent Otago in touch will form teams to compete at Taieri Plains Junior Touch Competition held at Peter Johnson Park.   
Tuesday afternoon - Year 9 - 13 in the Dunedin Secondary school compeition played at the Kensington Oval, Dunedin.

Secondary School Touch information: 

Venue: Kensington Oval

Times: Games start from 4pm (times will depend upon entries)

Dates:  14th Feb (Week 3 Term 1) to 27 March (Week 9 Term )

 All teams must wear a team uniform or if this is not possible then at the very minimum the team must wear their school PE uniform.

• Shoes must be worn. Boots can ONLY be moulded soles - NO studs.

Referees:

• Each team must have 2 referees available each week to do duty. Duty will be shared out during the season.
• If you are allocated to be a referee and do not turn up to officiate at your allocated game(s) you will be fined $20 per match – this will be paid by those who do not turn up.
• Transport to the kenninston oval can be provided via the school mini vans.
